Fylde and Wyre could be merged with Blackpool and maybe Preston, and I believe this would be bad for our communities. Our councils are well run and financially strong, while Blackpool is heavily in debt and Preston has different priorities. A merger could take our money away from local services and make it harder for our towns and villages to have a say in decisions that affect them.
